Ancient village in Morocco has always been a Hollywood film shoot
Morocco has a unique area with a full feel of historical interest to visit. An ancient village known as the Kasbah contains buildings of red soil as residential Berber tribe.
Along with the times, Kasbah-kasbah in Morocco is now an empty lot. Lack of facilities, making the old village abandoned by its inhabitants. No means to get clean water and electricity make the Kasbah is only used as a museum.
However, there is also the Kasbah is still inhabited by some of the population. Usually they are people who still maintain the heritage so reluctant to leave the ancient settlement.
One of the most famous is the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou. Kasbah was built around the 17th century. Ait Ben Haddou Arsitekstur beauty attracted the attention of UNESCO to make it as a world heritage.
Some tourists feel different sensations while visiting the region. Thousands of homes were lined up on a hill with a red-brown shades. Thus attracting film-makers to make it as a shooting location. Some movies are filmed in this place, among others, Marco Polo (1982), Gladiator (2000) and the King of Persia (2010).
